Here’s a rare satin reversible promotional tour jacket for The Cars from the late 1970’s. After Elektra signed The Cars in 1977, a limited number of these jackets were made for record label executives and tour personnel. Just imagine the stories this jacket has to tell!
The jacket is in good condition with a working “Robin” zipper and springy elastic, but there are some spots on the arms and some small holes, including what appears to be a small cigarette burn hole.
Note that having red satin underneath white satin gives the white satin a slight pinkish overtone…which in our opinion, looks amazing.
