Unique artisan crafted gilded 18-24k brushed gold (tested) plated necklace. An organic assemblage of Robert Lee Morris style motifs circa 1970-80’s. Reminiscent of his collaborations with Donna Karan, Geoffrey Beene and Michael Kors to name a few. One of a kind. Hand made. Cast brass likely then heavily plated. Areas of wear reveal gold metal. Despite the lack of signature, this piece was acquired from an estate in upstate New York amongst several other Robert Lee Morris original pieces. 

Update: We reached out to Robert Lee Morris and while it is not one of his designs, he did say “no sorry not mine. But it does look like it could be. Stunning piece!” How kind of him to get back to us & quickly too. This interaction just makes me admire this amazing iconic artist that much more. Obviously whoever had these pieces loved his work as much as us and even collected pieces similar. The mystery continues…
