1980's Hiroko Ogawa Skirt Set

Rare 1980’s cotton skirt set from textile artist Hiroko Ogawa in excellent vintage condition. Unique design with removable sleeves so the top converts and can be worn two different ways.  Offset cut on skirt at hem, boat neck shirt collar and wonderful shades of dyed indigo blue. Contrasting batik blue floral and striped patterns.  Hiroko Ogawa showed her work at The Craft Contemporary (formerly a Craft and Folk Art Museum CAFAM) here in Los Angeles, CA.

Note that there is no give in elastic in the skirt waist.
